PMX Ductwork is a custom ductwork fabrication shop in Pittsburgh, PA. We fabricate sheet metal duct fittings for residential and commercial HVAC systems. What PMX Ductwork Makes
We make 13 types of custom duct fittings: straight duct, round duct, elbows, tees, crosses, wyes, transitions, reducers, square-to-round adapters, offsets, end caps, plenums and return boots. Every piece is made to order. It is cut and formed to the width, depth, length and angle you enter, so the fitting matches the opening or trunk line you measured on the job instead of the closest size on a supply-house shelf.
We also fabricate welded rooftop equipment curbs — the flanged sheet-metal bases that mount RTUs, condensers, exhaust fans and skylights to the roof deck — to your exact footprint, height and gauge in 18, 16, 14 or 12 gauge galvanized, aluminum or stainless steel.
How Ordering Works

- See the live price. The price, 3D model and CAD drawing update as you change the fitting. Any custom dimension can be priced in the configurator, so you do not have to send a drawing and wait for a quote.
- Order online. Add the fitting to your cart and check out on this site. To start from a common size, all duct fitting sizes and prices lists each published size with its price and an order page.

Materials & Gauges
Every fitting is offered in galvanized steel, aluminum or stainless steel, in 26, 24, 22 or 20 gauge. A lower gauge number means thicker sheet metal: 26 gauge is the lightest sheet we offer and 20 gauge is the heaviest. Rectangular fittings join with slip and drive connections, and round duct uses a slip joint.
Galvanized Steel is the industry standard for most residential and commercial HVAC installations. Our galvanized duct fittings resist corrosion and provide decades of reliable service. Aluminum fittings are 65% lighter, ideal for rooftop units and suspended installations. Stainless Steel delivers maximum corrosion resistance for clean rooms, commercial kitchens, and marine environments.

Every fitting is available with your choice of connection type on each end: Raw (plain edge), Slip (friction-fit overlap), Drive (drive cleats), TDC (transverse duct connectors), or Flanged (bolted flanges for high-pressure systems).

Standard lead time is 1 business day from order confirmation. Orders ship by UPS, or by LTL freight for large orders, anywhere in the continental US, and shipping is calculated at checkout from the order's weight and destination. Every fitting is made to the dimensions you order, so custom fittings are not returnable.
